[ Mar 29 2005, 15:50 ]Bizarre - the position of my old page that can be found for the search 'Cambridge web design' has improved to position 8, yet dispite updating a fair amount of inbound links the target web design page doesn't show up in the top 1000, even for a UK specific search - and there a lot of websites in the top 1000 results that are a lot less about web design than this one.
Strategy
I have a feeling that the part of Google that deals with links and creates a network map that is used to assign page-rank is a slow beast compared to the bit that grabs content for Google's cache. So things could change suddenly at some stage. Meanwhile, I think the best thing I can do is concentrate on adding more web design related content to the web design page.
