Some history
This car has been part of the family for about 3 years and apart form having to have the gearbox rebuilt it's been pretty good to me, and has always loved cruising about like an old boat.
Just before this year's MOT was due the engine started to stall. I asked my ususal garage to check that the engine as OK before spending too much money getting it through the MOT. However, they banged on a new exhaust, two new tyres, issued its MOT and billed me £450 or so only for it to brake down 2 miles along the road.
It's been back to garage for several weeks and had all sorts of things tested and the mechanic is not sure what the probelm is. Apparently it might be the fuel control system, but after having been billed another £250 I've had enough.
Interested?
To a mechanic or someone in the trade I excpect this car might be worth something - at least enough to come and take it away. Having tried to find second-hand parts I know how rare they are. For all I know a quick fix or a replacement part could see this machine on the road again for years.

There are currently 12 months MOT and 6 months tax.
