It's Monday evening and it's cold.
[ Feb 14 2005, 18:37 ]I think there might be a problem with the heating in my office again. I'm sitting next to a healthy fire in the Red Lion but still feeling cold.
So what's new?
Not that much yet - although things could have changed by the time I've finished today's entry. I've been dwelling on a stage II for the MJBLog experiment since I found one of my old 'archive/last version' pages on G's front page for 'Cambridge web design' and spent some time over the weekend working on expanding a more contempary replacement:
Web design
The replacement web design section currently features a web design porfolio and, ah a number of errors and I seem to have missed something. I know what the problem is but I'm not going to fiddle with code while I'm in the pub - last time I tried the gateway used by my mobile connection kept reducing files transfered by FTP to zero bytes and I'm not in the mood for that kind of nonsense.
A reminder to myself:
Implement tag-stripping from paragraph titles in the MJBlog. Calm down - I know it's exciting stuff, but it's not worthy of a detailed explanation.
What else?
Well not a lot really, apart from personal stuff which would be published somewhere else if I had time. The loquine glupe thing is going pretty well considering I haven't left links in hundreds of link farms, (of course I mean interesting discussion forums), like some I've seen, but I'm still 11th out of 33,500. There's still a couple of week and I might have a bash at getting back in the top 10 but to be honest I'm much more interested in web design. Apart from potentially bringing in some commercially relevant traffic there's some benefit for my clients' site too. It's Monday, it's cold and this isn't really flowing, sorry - more tomorrow.
