Something for the weekend, sir?

[ Feb 10 2006, 17:46 ]

How about a new mini search engine challenge?

I've recently started a complete overhaul and redesign of the BLT Beds website and noticed today that the listings for one of their most popular brands, Millbrook, was missing the word 'beds'. It's not therefore surprising that the site isn't appearing too highly in the Big G for a search for 'Millbrook beds'.

Googlebot has already been today and grabbed a copy of the relevant page, (Millbrook Beds from BLT Beds - Beds, Futons, Sofabeds and Mattresses), so this weekend's pet project will be to keep an eye on the spider visits and G's cache. It will be intersting to se what a few simple text changes will make - more on Monday...
