This section of the website is intended to serve two purposes. Firstly to help explain to designers how to take their graphics and page-layouts and turn them into HTML/CSS templates, and secondly to illustrate to budding SEO specialists and website owners ways of gaining rankings in search engines for particular search terms, (in this instance 'Cambridge Web Design'.

Rectangles

Using image-editing or page-layout software you can overlay images and text using different transparencies and shapes, all of which which can be arbitrarily moved around and rotated.

The most modern browsers will also let you position elements so that they overlap one another, and alter their opacity, and with some challenging JavaScript elements can even be rotated. However, if you're building templates for a database application like a Content Management System as a designer you need to start thinking in rectangles.
