Pavuk is a UNIX 'web grabber' from Stefan Ondrejicka, (see here if you want more info).

The IP address of the server that used it to visit one of my sites points to a 'Test Page for Apache Installation' and an nslookup comes up with the name 'dsalch2.ldc.com'. www.ldc.com points to 8e6 Technologies who seem to be involved with stopping people from messing about on the Internet all day and wasting their employer's bandwidth when they should be engaged in more productive activities.

It will be interesting to see if this robot returns.
